Orkney
Orkney, cunoscută și sub numele de Insulele Orkney, este un arhipelag din nordul Scoției, la 16 km nord de coasta Caithness. Orkney cuprinde aproximativ 70 de insule, dintre care 20 sunt locuite. Cea mai mare insulă, cunoscută sub numele de "continentală", are o suprafață de 523,25 kilometri pătrați, fiind cea de-a șasea cea mai mare insulă scoțiană și cea de-a zecea cea mai mare insulă din insulele britanice. Orkney conține unele dintre cele mai vechi și mai bine conservate situri neolitic din Europa, iar "Inima Neoliticului Orkney" este un sit desemnat de Patrimoniul Mondial UNESCO.
