Pasteurizare
Pasteurizarea sau pasteurizarea este un proces de încălzire a alimentelor, care este de obicei lichid, la o temperatură specifică pentru o perioadă predeterminată de timp și apoi răcirea imediată după ce este îndepărtată de la căldură. Este numit după microbiologul Louis Pasteur pentru munca sa asupra procesului său de pasteurizare. Acest proces încetinește deteriorarea cauzată de creșterea microbiană a alimentelor.
