O comisie este un tip de adunare deliberativă mică, care este de obicei menită să rămână subordonată unei alte adunări deliberative mai mari - care, atunci când este organizată astfel încât acțiunea în comisie necesită un vot de către toți membrii săi, se numește "Comitetul întregului".
