Laminare (prelucrarea metalelor)
În prelucrarea metalelor, laminarea este un procedeu de formare a metalelor în care materialul metalic este trecut prin una sau mai multe perechi de role pentru a reduce grosimea și a face uniformitatea grosimii. Rularea este clasificată în funcție de temperatura metalului laminat. Dacă temperatura metalului este mai mare decât temperatura de recristalizare, atunci procesul este denumit laminare la cald. Dacă temperatura metalului este sub temperatura de recristalizare, procesul este denumit laminare la rece.
