Secunderabad
Secunderabad sau Sikandar-a-rău asculta, popular cunoscut sub numele de oraș gemene Hyderabad este situat în statul indian Telangana. Numit după Sikandar Jah, al III-lea Nizam al dinastiei Asaf Jahi, Secunderabad a fost înființat în 1806 d.Hr. ca un cantonament britanic. Deși Hyderabad și Secunderabad sunt împreună numite orașe gemene, au atât istorii și culturi diferite, cu Secunderabad dezvoltat direct sub dominația britanică până în 1948 și Hyderabad ca și capitală a statului princiar al lui Nizams. Din punct de vedere geografic divizat de Hyderabad de Hussain Sagar, Secunderabad nu mai este o unitate municipală separată și a devenit parte din Hyderabad. Ambele orașe sunt colectiv cunoscute sub denumirea de Hyderabad și formează împreună cea de-a șasea cea mai mare metropolă din India. Fiind unul dintre cele mai mari cantonamente din India, Secunderabad are o mare armată și prezența forței aeriene.
