Peninsula Sinai sau Sinai este o peninsulă triunghiulară în Egipt, cu o suprafață de aproximativ 60.000 km2. Este situat între Marea Mediterană la nord și Marea Roșie la sud și este singura parte a teritoriului egiptean situat în Asia, spre deosebire de Africa, care servește efectiv ca o punte de legătură între două continente. Cea mai mare parte a peninsulei este împărțită administrativ în două dintre cele 27 de guvernare ale Egiptului și are o populație de aproximativ 2.500.000 de locuitori. În plus față de numele său oficial, egiptenii se referă și la el ca أرض الفيروز, "Țara turcoazului". Egiptenii vechi au numit-o Mafkat, sau "pământ al mineralelor verzi". Regiunea a fost, în mod istoric, centrul conflictelor dintre diferite state, bazându-se în mare măsură pe poziția sa geopolitică strategică. Pe lângă perioadele de guvernare directă ale guvernelor egiptene, era ca și restul Egiptului, ocupat și controlat de Imperiul Otoman și de Regatul Unit. Israel a invadat și a ocupat Sinai în timpul crizei din Suez din 1956 și în timpul Războiului de Șase Zile din 1967.
