Un NEET sau neet este o persoană tânără care nu este "în educație, angajare sau formare". Acronimul NEET a fost folosit pentru prima oară în Regatul Unit, dar utilizarea sa sa răspândit în alte țări, inclusiv Japonia și Coreea de Sud. În Regatul Unit, clasificarea cuprinde persoane cu vârsta cuprinsă între 16 și 24 de ani; subgrupul NEETs în vârstă de 16-18 ani are o atenție deosebită.
