Tehnologia este realizarea, modificarea, utilizarea și cunoașterea instrumentelor, a mașinilor, a tehnicilor, a meșteșugurilor, a sistemelor și a metodelor de organizare, pentru a rezolva o problemă, pentru a îmbunătăți o soluție pre-existentă la o problemă, pentru a atinge un obiectiv, relația de intrare / ieșire aplicată sau o funcție specifică. Se poate referi și la colectarea unor astfel de instrumente, inclusiv mașini, modificări, aranjamente și proceduri. My father taught us that to thrive, excellence in technology, quality, and customer service along with cost competitiveness is a prerequisite. His contribution to business, the economy, and society at large can never be underscored enough.
If we want technology to serve society rather than enslave it, we have to build systems accessible to all people - be they male or female, young, old, disabled, computer wizards or technophobes.
