"Koşulsuz sevgiyi" sıkça tercüme eden Agape, Koine Yunanca kelimelerinden biri aşk olarak İngilizce'ye çevrilen bir kelimedir; insanlık için Tanrı ya da İsa'nın sevgisi olarak Hıristiyan teolojisinde özellikle tahsis edilen kişi. Yeni Antlaşma'da, Tanrı'nın insana olan sözde sevgisinin yanı sıra insan için Tanrı'ya karşılıklı sevgiyi ifade eder; Bu terim mutlaka bir insanın sevgisine kadar uzanır. Sözcüğün belirli bir dini çağrışıma sahip olmamasına karşın, İncil'de yazar ve Hıristiyan yazarlar da dahil olmak üzere çeşitli çağdaş ve eski kaynaklar tarafından kullanılmıştır.
