Andropoz
Andropoz veya erkek menopoz, İngilizce konuşulan dünyanın bazı yerlerinde bazı yaşlı erkeklerde görülen ve kadınlarda menopoz etkilerine yüzeysel benzerlikler gösteren bir dizi etkiye verilen addır. "Andropoz" durumu şu an Dünya Sağlık Örgütü ve ICD-10 tıbbi sınıflaması tarafından tanınmamaktadır. Erkeklerde hipogonadizm, ancak testosteron hormonunun yaşlanan bir erkeğin normal aralığının altına düştüğü bir eksiklik durumu olarak düşünülür. Bazen "andropoz" olarak adlandırılan bu efekt seti, orta yaşlı erkeklerde testosteron ve dehidroepiandrosteron hormonlarının üretiminin yavaş fakat sürekli bir şekilde düşürülmesiyle ve bu azalmanın sonuçlarıyla ilişkili olabilir.
