Asferik mercek
Bir asferik mercek veya küre, yüzey profilleri bir küre veya silindirin parçaları olmayan bir mercektir. Fotoğrafta, asferik bir unsuru içeren bir lens takımı genellikle asferik bir lens olarak adlandırılır. Kürenin daha karmaşık yüzey profili küresel sapmayı azaltabilir veya ortadan kaldırabilir ve basit bir lensle karşılaştırıldığında diğer optik sapmaları da azaltabilir.
