Assize kelimesi, İngiltere ve Galler'deki yedi devreden "oyer" komisyonuyla geçen Adalet Yüksek Mahkemesinin Kral Tezgahı Dairesi'nin hakimleri olan "adalet hakimleri" olarak bilinen hakimlerin oturmalarına ya da oturumlarına atıfta bulunmaktadır ve terminale ", mahkemeyi kurmak ve çeşitli kasabalarda jüri çağırmak.
