Küvvet küre (Yunanca, "derin" ve "σφαίρα" (sfaira), "küre"), bir kablo üzerinde okyanusa güçsüzleştirilen ve indirilen küresel bir derin deniz dalgıçlığıdır ve bir dizi 1930-1934 yılları arasında Bermuda kıyılarından dalıyor. Bathysphere, 1928 ve 1929 yılları arasında Amerikan mühendis Otis Barton tarafından doğa bilimcisi William Beebe'nin denizaltı vahşi yaşamı okumak için kullanması için tasarlanmıştı. Beebe ve Barton Bathysphere'de dalışlar yaparak, deniz biyologlarının deniz ortamındaki canlı hayvanları ilk kez gördüklerini belirtti.
