Haçlı Seferleri, Orta Çağlar ve Geç Ortaçağ'da Latin Roma Katolik Kilisesi tarafından yaptırım uygulanan askeri kampanyalardı. 1095 yılında Papa II. Kent, Kudüs'teki ve yakınlardaki kutsal mekanlara Hıristiyan erişimi sağlamak amacıyla belirtilen Birinci Haçlı Seferi ilan etti.
