Siklopean duvar
Siklop taşı, Miken mimarisinde bulunan, bitişik taşlar arasında minimal boşluk bırakılarak kaba sığan ve harç kullanılmayan, muazzam kireç taşı kütleleriyle inşa edilmiş bir taş işidir. Kayalar tipik olarak işe yaramamış gibi görünüyor, ancak bazıları kabaca bir çekiçle ve kireç taşı parçacıklarıyla doldurulmuş kayalar arasındaki boşluklarla işlenmiş olabilir. Mycenae ve Tiryns duvarlarında Cyclopean duvarın en ünlü örnekleri bulunur ve bu tarz Myken kale surları için karakteristiktir. Benzer stil taş işçiliği diğer kültürlerde bulunur ve bu terim tipik taş işlerini tanımlamak için kullanılmaya başlandı. Bu terim klasik Yunanlıların inanışından sadece efsanevi Döngülerin, Miken ve Tiran'ın duvarlarını oluşturan muazzam kayaları hareket ettirme gücüne sahip oldukları inancından gelir.
