Mesafe veya uzaklık, nesnelerin ne kadar uzak olduğunu gösteren sayısal bir tanımlamadır. Fizikte veya gündelik kullanımda, mesafe, fiziksel bir uzunluğa veya başka ölçütlere dayalı bir tahmine işaret edebilir. Matematikte, bir mesafe fonksiyonu ya da metrik, fiziksel mesafe kavramının genelleştirilmesidir.
