Ejeksiyon, arazinin mülkiyetini veya tapusunu geri kazanmak için sivil eylemin ortak kanuni terimidir. Eski gerçek eylemlerin yanı sıra çeşitli mal varlıklarının yerini aldı. Bazı yerlerde hâlâ kullanılmasına rağmen, söz konusu dönem, sırasıyla tahliye ve sessiz unvanları yoluyla mülkiyet ve unvan ihtilafına uğrayan birçok ortak hukuk ülkesinde geçersiz kılınmıştır. Başlangıçta, bir çıkarma, arazinin varlığının iyileştirilmesiyle, örneğin, orada kalma hakkına sahip olmayan, varsayılan bir kiracıya ya da bir saldırgana karşı ilgiliydi.
