Maastricht Antlaşması
Avrupa'yı entegre etmek için üstlenilen Maastricht Antlaşması, Hollanda'nın Maastricht kentinde bulunan Avrupa Birliği üyeleri tarafından 7 Şubat 1992'de imzalanmıştır. 9-10 Aralık 1991'de aynı şehir, antlaşmanın taslağını hazırlayan Avrupa Konseyi'ne ev sahipliği yaptı. Delors Komisyonu'nda 1 Kasım 1993'te yürürlüğe giren Avrupa Birliği'ni kurdu ve tek bir Avrupa para biriminin, avronun oluşturulmasına yol açtı. Maastricht Antlaşması, Amsterdam, Nice ve Lizbon antlaşmaları ile değiştirildi.
