Mitokondri
Mitokondrion çoğu ökaryotik hücrede bulunan zarlara bağlı bir organeltir. Mitokondri sözcüğü Yunanca μίτος, yani mitos, yani "iplik" ve kıvrım, yani "granül" ten oluşur. Mitokondriyum çapı 0,5 ila 1,0 mikrometre arasında değişir.
