Bir çoklu titreşim, osilatörler, zamanlayıcılar ve flip-floplar gibi çeşitli basit iki-durumlu sistemleri uygulamak için kullanılan elektronik bir devredir. Direnç veya kondansatörler ile çapraz bağlı iki yükseltme cihazı ile karakterizedir. "Multivibratör" ismi başlangıçta devrenin serbest çalışan osilatör versiyonuna uygulandı çünkü çıkış dalga formu harmonikler açısından zenginti. Devrenin çalışmasına bağlı olarak üç çeşit çoklu titreşim devresi vardır: ▪ devrenin her iki durumda da sabit olmadığı kararsız - sürekli olarak bir durumdan diğerine geçer. Gevşeme osilatörü olarak işlev görür. ▪ devletlerin birinin kararlı olduğu tek durumlu, ancak diğer devlet kararsızdır. Bir tetikleme darbesi devrenin kararsız hale gelmesine neden olur. Kararsız duruma girdikten sonra, devre belirli bir süre sonunda dengeli duruma dönecektir. Böyle bir devre, bazı harici olaya tepki olarak sabit bir zamanlama periyodu oluşturmak için yararlıdır.
