Semantik anlam araştırmasıdır. Sözcükler, cümleler, işaretler ve semboller gibi işaretleyiciler arasındaki ilişki üzerinde duruyor ve ne ifade ettikleri, işaretleri. Dilbilim semantiği, insan ifadesini dil yoluyla anlamada kullanılan anlam araştırmasıdır. Diğer anlambilim biçimleri, programlama dilleri, resmi mantıklar ve göstergebilim semantiklerini içerir.
