Sahte Savaş, İkinci Dünya Savaşı'nın başlarında, Batı Müttefikler'in Alman Reich'ine karşı büyük askeri operasyonlardan yoksun bırakılmasıyla belirginleşen bir evreydi. Bu safha, İngiltere ve Fransa'nın Eylül 1939'de Almanya hakkında savaş ilan ettikten sonraki ayları ve Mayıs 1940'da Fransa Savaşından önceki ayları kapsıyordu. Savaş her iki tarafça beyan edildi, ancak Batı ülkelerinin hiçbir gücü, şartlara rağmen önemli bir kara saldırısı başlatmayı taahhüt etmedi.
