Stoa, antik Yunan mimarisinde, kapalı yürüyüş yollarını veya portikaları, genel kullanım için tanımlayan bir terimdir. Girişte, genellikle Dor düzeninde, binanın yanını astarlayan sütunlarla açılmış erken kerpiçler vardı; güvenli, zarflayan, koruyucu bir atmosfer yarattılar. Daha sonraki örnekler, iki katlı olarak inşa edildi; dükkanların veya bazen ofislerin bulunduğu iç sütunları destekleyen bir çatı vardı. İyonik mimari izledi. Bu binalar halka açıktı; tüccar mallarını satabilir, sanatçılar resimlerini gösterebilir ve dinsel toplantılar yapılabilir. Stoalar genellikle büyük kentlerin pazar yerlerini kuşattı. Stoic felsefe okulunun adı "Stoa" ya aittir.
