Papar, Doğu Malezya'nın Sabah bölgesindeki West Coast Division'da bulunan bir şehir ve ilçedir. Sabah'ın başkenti Kota Kinabalu'nun 38 kilometre güneyinde yer alır. Gösteri, Sabah'ın kuzeyinde, Putatan ile Kota Kinabalu arasındaki rota ile güneydeki Membakut ve Beaufort arasındaki stratejik konumu nedeniyle de önemli bir ara yer. Gösteri, buharlı tren servisi kullanan yolcular için Kuzey Borneo Demiryolu rotasının son varış yeri olarak da iyi bilinir.
