Дихотомія
Дихотомія - це будь-яке розщеплення цілого на дві частини, що не перекриваються, а це означає, що це процедура, в якій цілі ділять на дві частини. Це розділ цілого на дві частини, які: ▪ спільно вичерпні: все повинно належати до тієї чи іншої частини, і ▪ взаємовиключно: ніщо не може належати одночасно обом частинам. Такий розділ також часто називають двопартійним. Обидві частини, сформовані таким чином, є доповненнями.
