Література, в широкому сенсі, це будь-яка письмова робота; етимологічно цей термін походить від латинського літератури / litteratura "письма сформовані буквами", хоча деякі визначення включають розмовні або співані тексти. Більш суворо, це пише, що володіє літературними достоїнствами, і мова, яка висвітлює літературні якості, на відміну від звичайної мови.
