Медералізація - це процес, який передбачає нагрівання та окиснення вина. Термін називається внаслідок процесу виробництва вина Madeira, де воно відбувається, поки вино в бочці. Назовні Madeira вино, як правило, розглядається як вина вина, але бажано у випадку з певними десертними винами, де воно відбувається протягом старіння пляшки.
