Болото
Болото - це болото, яке накопичує торф, родовище мертвого рослинного матеріалу, часто мох, а в більшості випадків - сфагновий мох. Це один з чотирьох основних типів водно-болотних угідь. Інші назви для болот включають болото, болото і мушлег; лужні болі називаються фенс. Вони часто покриті еротичними чагарниками, кореневими в сфагнумовому моху та торфі. Поступове накопичення розпаду рослинного матеріалу в болоті функціонує як вуглецева мийка. Болота зустрічаються там, де вода на поверхні землі кислотна і низька в поживних речовинах.
