Білкові мавпи це мавпи Нового Світу роду Saimiri. Вони є єдиним родом у підродині Saimirinae. Назва роду Saimiri є походженням Тупі, і його також використовували як англійське ім'я ранніми дослідниками. Білкові мавпи живуть у тропічних лісах Центральної та Південної Америки в шарі купола.
