Підструктура
У математичній логіці субструктура або подалгебра є структурою, домен якої є підмножиною більшої структури, а функції та відносини - сліди функцій і відносин більшої структури. Деякими прикладами подалгебр є підгрупи, субмоноиди, підкорці, підполя, подалгебрії алгебри над полем або індуковані підграфів. Змінюючи точку зору, більша структура називається розширенням або надбудовою його підструктури. У теорії моделі термін "підмодель" часто використовується як синонім підструктури, особливо якщо контекст пропонує теорію, в якій обидві структури є моделями. За наявності відносин може мати сенс відпочити умови на подалгебрі, так що відносини на слабкій підструктурі є найбільшою, ніж індуковані з більшої структури.
