Eusebius
Eusebius, war ein römischer Historiker, griechischer Abstammung, Exegete und christlicher Polemiker. Er wurde zum Bischof der frühen Zentren von Caesarea um das Jahr 314 A.D. Zusammen mit Pamphilus war er ein Gelehrter des biblischen Kanons und gilt als ein sehr gut gelernter Christ seiner Zeit. Er schrieb Demonstrationen des Evangeliums, Vorbereitungen für das Evangelium und über Diskrepanzen zwischen den Evangelien, Studien des biblischen Textes. Als "Vater der Kirchengeschichte" produzierte er die kirchliche Geschichte, über das Leben von Pamphilus, die Chronik und die Märtyrer.
