Hidebound
Hidebound ist ein Animationsfilm von 2005, der von Aron erzählt, einem jungen Mann, der sich um Kommunikation und die menschliche Situation in der heutigen Gesellschaft kümmert. Er beschließt, ein Experiment zu führen und beobachtet die Reaktionen anderer Menschen dazu. Durch dieses einzigartige Experiment oder Beobachtungen treffen wir auf mehrere Charaktere, die uns eine andere Geschichte erzählen, wie die Menschen auf eine neue Erfahrung reagieren und wie sie sich unter Druck verhalten. Der Weg, den Hidebound gemacht hat, spiegelt genau diesen experimentellen Weg wider. Der Film wurde zum ersten Mal auf DV geschossen, wo nach der Bearbeitung die Frames ausgedruckt wurden. Während Messen und Festivals in Reykjavík, Island, Mitglieder der breiten Öffentlichkeit, wo angeboten, um bei der Herstellung des Films zu helfen, indem sie ihren eigenen Stil die Menschen aus diesen Print-outs. Über 1.350 Menschen trugen mit weit über 16.000 Spuren und Zeichnungen bei, die in der Animation des Films gescannt und verwendet wurden. Hintergründe und andere Animationen wurden von einem Team von jungen Künstlern in Reykjavík, geführt von den Regisseuren und Schöpfern dieses Projektes, Guðmundur Arnar und Þórgnýr Thoroddsen erstellt.
