Eine Anlegestelle ist eine Vielzahl von Strukturen, die in Fluss-, Hafen- und Seearbeiten verwendet werden, die in der Regel paarweise von Flussufern oder in Fortsetzung der Flusskanäle an ihren Verkaufsstellen in tiefes Wasser durchgeführt werden; Oder in Docks und außerhalb ihrer Eingänge; Oder für die Bildung von Becken entlang der Küste für Häfen in Tideless Meeren. Die Formen und der Aufbau dieser Anlegestellen sind so vielfältig wie ihre Verwendungszwecke, denn sie sind manchmal von hoch offenen Holzwerken, manchmal von niedrigen festen Projektionen gebildet und gelegentlich nur von Wellenbrechern in ihrem Gegenstand verschieden. Der Begriff stammt aus dem französischen Wort jetée, "geworfen", und bedeutet etwas, das herausgeworfen wird. Anlegestellen an der Küste, die aufgewachsen und erweitert wurden, verhindern eine lange Uferdrift und verlangsamen daher die Stranderosion.
