Monodie
In der Poesie hat sich der Begriff Monod spezialisiert, um sich auf ein Gedicht zu beziehen, in dem eine Person den Tod eines anderen beklagt. (Im Kontext der antiken griechischen Literatur, Monodie, μονῳδία könnte einfach auf lyrische Poesie, die von einem einzigen Darsteller gesungen wird, anstatt von einem Chor.)
