Praemunire
In der englischen Geschichte war Praemunire oder Praemunire facias ein Gesetz, das die Behauptung oder Erhaltung der päpstlichen Zuständigkeit, imperialen oder fremden oder einer anderen außerirdischen Zuständigkeit oder Behauptung der Vorherrschaft in England gegen die Vorherrschaft des Monarchen verboten hatte. Dieses Gesetz wurde durch die Schriftsprache von Praemunire facias, eine Vorladung, von der das Gesetz seinen Namen nennt, durchgesetzt. Der Name Praemunire kann das Statut, die Schrift oder die Straftat bezeichnen. Praemunire im klassischen Latein bedeutet zu befestigen. Im mittelalterlichen Latein wurde das Praemunire mit der Praemonie verwirrt und verwarnt, um zu vergessen, wie der Schriftsteller befahl, daß der Sheriff den beschworenen Menschen warnen, vor dem Gericht zu erscheinen.
