Widerstand
Ein Widerstand ist eine passive, zweiadrige elektrische Komponente, die den elektrischen Widerstand als Schaltungselement implementiert. Widerstände wirken, um den Stromfluss zu reduzieren und gleichzeitig zu niedrigeren Spannungspegeln in Schaltungen zu wirken. Der Strom durch einen Widerstand steht in direktem Verhältnis zur Spannung an den Klemmen des Widerstands. Diese Beziehung wird durch das Ohmsche Gesetz dargestellt: wo ich den Strom durch den Leiter in Einheiten von Ampere ist, ist V die Potentialdifferenz, die über den Leiter in Einheiten von Volt gemessen wird, und R ist der Widerstand des Leiters in Einheiten von Ohm. Das Verhältnis der an den Klemmen eines Widerstands angelegten Spannung an die Intensität des Stroms in der Schaltung wird als Widerstand bezeichnet, und dies kann als eine Konstante für gewöhnliche Widerstände angenommen werden, die in ihren Bewertungen arbeiten. Widerstände sind gemeinsame Elemente von elektrischen Netzwerken und elektronischen Schaltungen und sind ubiquitär in elektronischen Geräten.
