In der Bibel war die Ziege für Azazel eine Ziege, die als Teil der Zeremonien des Sühntags in der Wüste ausgestoßen wurde, die während des Exodus mit dem ursprünglichen Tabernakel begann und durch die Zeiten der Tempel in Jerusalem fortfuhr .
