Auxine

The auxins are a group of natural and synthetic growth regulators with multiple effects on growth and differentiation processes in vascular plants and a specific effect in the protonema of the deciduous moss. The naturally occurring plant auxin belongs to the phytohormones. The opponents of the Auxine are the blastokolines. The auxins are known in the technical language because of their effect also under the name stretching hormones. In plants, they are essential.
