Deklinograph
Declinograph is a device designed for graphical recording of declination differences in astronomy in 1878 by the Berlin precision mechanic Rudolf Fuess. The declinograph has two steel tips, one of which is connected to the movable thread of the impersonal micrometer, which is used for the declination adjustment, and the other is connected to the fixed parts of the ocular piece. A paper strip is pressed against these tips at the moment of the adjustment, and the distance between the two marks made by the tips, which can be measured later, gives the declination difference.
