Telearbeit

The term "teleworking" encompasses various work forms, in which employees at least carry out part of the work outside the employer's buildings. Often, the work results are transmitted to the employer via digital channels. Communication devices such as computers and telephones are frequently used for this purpose. The term e-Work is also used. Agreements on work targets, dates, etc. are made with the employer, the work team or both. The company has the advantage, among other things, of having fewer office space at its disposal. In addition, the competencies of employees who can not regularly appear in the office, for example because of the child care, can be used further. Telework is regulated by law either by contract of employment or through company agreements, more rarely in industrial or household contracts, in other European countries.
