WHAT DOES BRANCH MEAN IN ENGLISH?

Branch

A branch or tree branch is a woody structural member connected to but not part of the central trunk of a tree. Large branches are known as boughs and small branches are known as twigs. While branches can be nearly horizontal, vertical, or diagonal, the majority of trees have upwardly diagonal branches. The term "twig" often refers to a terminus, while "bough" refers only to branches coming directly from the trunk.

Definition of branch in the English dictionary

The first definition of branch in the dictionary is a secondary woody stem arising from the trunk or bough of a tree or the main stem of a shrub. Other definition of branch is a subdivision of the stem or root of any other plant. Branch is also an offshoot or secondary part.
