WHAT DOES SPHERE MEAN IN ENGLISH?

sphere

Sphere

A sphere is a perfectly round geometrical and circular object in three-dimensional space that resembles the shape of a completely round ball. Like a circle, which, in geometric contexts, is in two dimensions, a sphere is defined mathematically as the set of points that are all the same distance r from a given point in three-dimensional space. This distance r is the radius of the sphere, and the given point is the center of the sphere. The maximum straight distance through the sphere passes through the center and is thus twice the radius; it is the diameter. In mathematics, a distinction is made between the sphere and the ball.

Definition of sphere in the English dictionary

The first definition of sphere in the dictionary is a three-dimensional closed surface such that every point on the surface is equidistant from a given point, the centre. Other definition of sphere is the solid figure bounded by this surface or the space enclosed by it. Equation: ² + ² + ² = r², where r is the radius and are the coordinates of the centre; surface area: 4π r²; volume: 4π r³/3. Sphere is also any object having approximately this shape; globe.
