Cotinga

Cotinga is a genus of passerine birds that belongs to the Cotingidae family and contains seven species. It is found in tropical forests in South America and Central America, from southern Mexico to southeast Brazil. It is characterized because its feeding is based on fruits, of the high level of the forest. Cotinga es un género de aves paseriformes que pertenece a la familia Cotingidae y contiene siete especies. Se encuentra en el bosque tropical en Sudamérica y Centroamérica, desde el sur de México hasta el sureste de Brasil. Se caracteriza porque su alimentación es basada en frutos, del nivel alto del bosque.
