WHAT DOES URDU MEAN IN SPANISH?
Urdu
Urdu or Urdu is a language spoken mainly in Pakistan and India. In Pakistan it is considered the national language, while in India it is one of the 24 official languages in the country. Despite its status as a national language of Pakistan, only about ten million people in Pakistan speak it as their mother tongue. This small percentage is the so-called mohajir, the social and economic elite of Pakistan, who comes from Muslim refugees who fled northern India after the partition of ancient British India in 1947 when the two independent states of India and Pakistan . Because of the similarity between Urdu and Hindi, speakers of the two languages can usually be understood at a basic level if both parties refrain from using specialized vocabulary or dialect differences. Some linguists consider them as part of the same language and claim that they are considered as two distinct languages for political-religious reasons.
