गए । माता ने कहा कि में जवानी में बहुतों के पास रही ओर
उसी समय तू उत्पन्न हुआ । में नही जानती कि तू किसका
पुत्र है । जा ओर कह दे कि मेरी माता का नाम जाबाला है
और मेरा जाबाल है । जब आचार्य ने यह सुना तब उनेहोंने
कहा कि 'हे जाबाल? समिधा लाओ, मैं तुह्मारा यज्ञोपवीत
करुँ; क्योंकि ब्राह्मण के अतिरिक्त कोई ऐसा सत्य नहीं बोल
सकता' । इनका एक नाम सत्यकाम भी है ।
