प्रतिबिंब उतारने का गोल शीशा लगा रहता है ।
विशेष—इस संदूक को आवश्यकतानुसार फैला या सिकोड़ सकते
हैं । संदूक में पीछे की ओर अर्थात लेंस के सामने एक ग्राउंड
ग्लास (कोरा शीशा) होता है जिसपर पहले फोकस करते हैं
फिर उस ग्राउंड ग्लास को निकालकर स्लाइड रखते हैं जिसके
भीतर प्लेट या फिल्म रहती है । स्लाइड पर पर्दा हटा देने से
प्लेट या फिल्म खुल जाती है और लेंस खोलने से उसपर अक्स
पड़ता है । कमरा दो प्रकार का होता है, एक भाथीदार और
दूसरा सरकौआँ ।
