Sour is a type of cocktail in which distilled spirits are mixed with sour juices such as citrus and sweet ingredients such as sugar. Sometimes we do not add sweetness ingredients, making use of only the sweetness of juices. Originally it is a word meaning "sour" in English, but in English even the cocktail above is called sour. In Japan, it refers to a cocktail of distilled spirits and juice divided by soda (carbonated water), but in the United States it is not normally soda. In Europe, as in Japan, soda cracking is sometimes used, but in principle like the United States it is made with distilled liquor and juice only. In Japan, it is often used synonymously with Shochu. "Green tea sour" and "oolong sour" are synonymous with "green tea high" and "oolong high", respectively, meaning shochu fish, and there is no sour taste. ...
