Torun
Toruń (German: Thorn) is an industrial city located on the banks of the River Vistula, north of Poland, the prefectural assembly of Kujawi-Pomorskie province. Until 1998 it was the capital of the old Torun province. In 1997 the Old Town was registered as a World Heritage Site. Torun is located about 40 km east-southeast back from Bydgoszcz to the Vistula River. In 2003 Bydgoszcz Medical College was integrated at Torun University. In addition, there is a sharp factory of a major electronics maker in the suburbs, and you can see a lot of Japanese resident.
