Cloning (Biology)
In biology, replication means that a biological entity in its natural state produces the same entity as itself. In biotechnology, cloning refers to the process of cloning DNA fragments, cells, and organisms, and the latter is especially the latter. Clone is derived from κλῶνος, a Greek word stem, which means a traditional cloning method using twigs. Horticulture used the word clone until the 20th century. Cloning, on the other hand, is often used in computer programming and software as a cloning branch.
