Pyeongyeon
Pyongyun-myeon is the face of Youngju-si in Gyeongsangbuk-do, South Korea. The area is 62.05㎢ and the population is 2,406 as of 2006. In May 2013, Geumgang-ri and Kangdong-ri will be submerged due to the construction of Yeongju dam. There is a bus stop at the site of the site and there is a local and intercity bus stop. The railroad traffic is in Geumgangri and Chungcheon-gu has a station, but was abolished on March 28, 2013 due to the project of submerging the Yeongju dam.
